HYDERABAD: Tensions flared at a private hospital on Monday after a mother of five children died allegedly due to medical negligence during a surgical procedure.
The victim’s relatives staged a protest outside the medical facility, accusing the doctors of “gross incompetence” and a botched operation that led to her untimely death. According to the family, the woman was admitted for a routine procedure but her condition deteriorated rapidly following the surgery.
”We want justice. This is a clear case of negligence, and those responsible must be held accountable,” said a grieving relative during the demonstration. The protesters blocked the nearby road for a brief period, demanding a high-level inquiry and the registration of a case against the hospital management.
The hospital administration has yet to issue an official statement, while police officials arrived at the scene to negotiate with the protesters and initiate an investigation into the allegations.
